How I built uidrop.dev — a UI store powered by AI and late nights

Every project I started, I found myself doing the same thing — building a navbar, a hero section, a pricing card, an auth page. From scratch. Every. Single. Time. And I'm not alone. Most frontend developers spend 40–60% of their time rebuilding UI that already exists somewhere else.

How AI changed how I design

I'm not saying AI designs for me. I say: AI is my junior designer who never sleeps. I describe what I want — 'a glassmorphism card with a violet glow, soft shadow, white border' — and I get 10 variations in 30 seconds. I pick the best one, refine it, add the interactions. What used to take 2 hours takes 20 minutes.

This speed is what lets uidrop.dev stay at ₹69 while competitors charge ₹5,000+. My costs are low. My output is high. The savings go to you.

The late nights part

I built the first version of uidrop.dev in 3 weeks while working a day job. 10 PM to 2 AM, every night. Not because I had to — because I genuinely couldn't stop. Every time I built a new component, I thought: 'this is going to save someone 4 hours.' That feeling doesn't get old.
